Alan Silvestri
Main Theme
Back To The Future (1985)Oh, who doesn’t want to hop into a time-traveling DeLorean? For three movies, Michael J. Fox did just that, traveling backwards (to 1955), forwards (to 2015) and reeeeeeeally backwards (to 1885), and the Back To The Future trilogy made “flux capacitor” as much part of popular sci-fi lingo as “warp drive” and “Jar Jar Binks”.
Silvestri’s score is unmistakeable, and is used in all three films. Campy and heroic: everything you want in a main theme.
